Unlike many other horticultural crops, raspberries ripen continuously throughout the season. It’s common to find berries at different stages of maturity on the same plant.
Our experienced harvesting teams carefully identify fruit that is ready for picking while leaving immature berries to continue developing. Overripe or damaged fruit is also recognised and separated during harvesting to help maintain overall fruit quality.
By combining careful fruit selection with efficient harvesting practices, growers are better positioned to maximise marketable yield while reducing unnecessary waste.
