More than ten years ago, our journey with one of New Zealand’s largest and most recognised blueberry growers began during the demanding harvest season.
Our partnership started with a simple purpose — providing a reliable and skilled harvesting team to support critical seasonal operations. In the beginning, our focus was on understanding the grower’s expectations, adapting to their systems, and building trust through consistent performance. Through close communication, practical experience, and a shared commitment to quality, J&B Sunshine became a trusted partner within their orchard operations.
As the partnership developed, our role expanded far beyond seasonal harvesting. Over the past decade, we have supported the grower across multiple regions, working alongside different orchard teams and adapting to the unique requirements of each location. From new orchard establishment and tree planting, to pruning, tying, orchard maintenance, and large-scale harvesting operations, our teams have provided end-to-end workforce and operational support throughout the full blueberry production cycle.
