From Workforce Support

In 2011, founder Bin Wang began his journey in New Zealand’s horticultural industry through blueberry harvesting. With first-hand experience of seasonal work and grower challenges, he gradually built a team and developed workforce solutions to better support the industry.
From seasonal labour support to a broader range of services, J&B Sunshine now provides orchard operations support, including planting, weeding, harvesting, packhouse services, workforce training and practical technical guidance—helping growers improve productivity and achieve successful harvests.

Lead OperationsWith over 10 years of experience in the horticultural industry, Mr Zhao plays a key role in team leadership, operational management and business development. He oversees daily operations, coordinates workforce planning and works closely with clients to ensure efficient service delivery and strong client relationships.
Mrs Chen
MarketingMrs Chen leads marketing strategy and brand development, helping strengthen the company’s market presence and industry reputation. She focuses on brand positioning, business promotion and strategic marketing initiatives that support sustainable growth and build lasting relationships with clients.

Where It All Began
J&B Sunshine’s journey began with blueberry harvesting, where founder Bin Wang gained first-hand experience in New Zealand’s horticultural industry. Working alongside growers provided valuable insight into seasonal operations, workforce management and the challenges faced by orchard businesses.
Expanding Across Crops
As demand grew, our services expanded beyond blueberries to support a wider range of horticultural sectors, including vineyards, kiwifruit flower thinning, pear harvesting, asparagus, daffodils, strawberries and vegetable production. This diversification allowed us to build broader industry knowledge while supporting growers throughout different seasons.
